As the Executive Director of Hill County Youth Collaboration, she headed community prevention services for youth. She was on the Local & Regional Child Protection Services Boards & worked extensively with CPS and their clients. As an adjunct instructor in Hill’s Prevention Services Department she taught Licensed Chemical Dependency Counseling (LCDC) and Criminal Justice courses.
